My early paintings are impressionistic using oil on canvas. I love the richness and depth of this traditional medium. More recently I have been focusing on abstracts using acrylic on canvas which allows me to layer colors more quickly.
My artistic tendency and sense of composition was first expressed through photography but it is the magic of mixing colors on the palette and applying them creatively on the canvas that has fascinated me from the very first time I touched a brush.
I love variety and challenge in my work. I look for exciting contrasts, shadows and colors. I paint local and international sceneries that I visited and various subjects that appeal to me including creative abstractions.
I try to capture my vision of the subject on the canvas so that I can share my feelings of that moment with the viewers.
