My work features landscapes and seascapes exclusively – of California where I now live or memories of the Canadian prairies where I was born and grew up. My intent is to glorify the Earth and promote its majesty; sometimes vestiges of man are present. The Earth has been here for 4 billion years and man in his present form for a mere 100,000. The Earth shall endure. My paintings are timeless. They represent a small portion of the surface of the Earth that may have been present 200 or 2000 years ago, or maybe scant minutes ago. The past is close behind.
